Dimensional & Geometric Inspection
Verifying physical parts against your original CAD files. We measure tight tolerances, complex 3D profiles, and geometric features using high-precision coordinate and optical systems.

First Mold has 6 sets of SEREIN (Hexagon) CROMA series CMMs (models 1086, 686, and 8106), offering a precision of (2.8 + L/300) μm, to measure complex 3D profiles, deep holes, concentricity, and flatness directly against your 3D CAD data.
2D Vision Measurement Systems
First Mold has 4 sets of HEXAGON EAGLE & Auto VIEWMAX optical systems, providing a precision of (3.0 + L/200) μm, for non‑contact inspection of thin‑wall parts, hole positions, and flat profiles to prevent physical deformation during measurement.
High-Precision Height Gauges
First Mold has TESA HITE700 (Switzerland) and MITUTOYO QM-HEIGHT 600 (Japan), with a precision of (2.8 + L/300) μm, deployed directly on the shop floor for real-time, in‑process height, depth, and slot width verifications.
Material & Surface Analysis
Confirming material integrity and cosmetic standards. We analyze exact alloy compositions, verify surface roughness, and conduct accelerated corrosion testing.
Material Testers & XRF Spectrometers
First Mold uses an Olympus DPO-2000 (1 PPM sensitivity) and a Tianrui XRF (±0.05% accuracy) for Positive Material Identification (PMI), verifying exact alloy compositions — such as distinguishing AL7075 from AL6061 — and ensuring absolute RoHS compliance.
Surface Roughness Inspector
First Mold uses a MITUTOYO SJ‑210 (Japan) to accurately measure the Ra/Rz values of CNC machined surfaces, ensuring they meet specific cosmetic or functional requirements.
Salt Spray Tester
First Mold uses a HYM‑HY‑60 to perform accelerated corrosion testing for plated, anodized, or painted metal parts.

The international common quality management system is the guarantee of our product quality. Our quality control procedures operate strictly under certified global standards. For automotive and high-compliance projects, we support full PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions.




IQC (Incoming Quality Control)
Before any manufacturing begins, we test incoming raw materials.
For Metals
We verify the chemical composition using XRF analyzers to prevent the use of substandard steel or aluminum.
For Plastics
We verify the resin grade and bake out moisture using moisture analyzers to prevent internal porosity and splay.
IPQC (In-Process Quality Control)
During mass production, inspectors conduct routing checks every 2 hours at the machines
For CNC Metal Parts
We measure critical bores using Height Gauges, check tool wear, and verify surface finishes directly with the SJ-210 profilometer.
For Injection Molded Parts
We visually inspect for molding defects (flash, short shots, warpage) and weigh the parts to ensure consistent material density. Color consistency is tracked via ΔE values.
OQC (Outgoing Quality Control)

Dimensional Sign-off
Parts are routed through our CMM and Vision Systems to verify all critical tolerances match the 2D drawings.
Assembly & Fit
We conduct physical fit-checks for mating components (e.g., top and bottom housings) to ensure smooth assembly without interference.
Packaging Check
Verifying parts are properly sealed, cushioned, and labeled to prevent handling damage during global transit.
