5. YouTube Auto-Publishing Tool
First Mold uses an internal automation tool (“the Tool”) that allows authorized
members of our marketing/operations team to publish video content to First
Mold’s own YouTube channel(s) on our behalf. This section describes how the
Tool accesses and handles data through the Google APIs it uses.
Scope of Access
The Tool requests the following Google API permissions:
– YouTube video upload – used to upload video files and their associated
metadata (title, description, tags, thumbnail, publish date) to First Mold’s
YouTube channel(s).
– YouTube read-only access – used to check the processing and publication
status of videos previously uploaded through the Tool.
Data Collected and How It Is Used
Through these permissions, the Tool accesses only the video files, titles,
descriptions, and publication status associated with First Mold’s own YouTube
channel(s). The Tool does not access, collect, or process any personal data
belonging to viewers of the channel, YouTube subscribers, or any Google account
other than the authorized company channel account(s).
Data Storage and Security
Authentication credentials (OAuth tokens) used by the Tool are stored securely
on First Mold’s own infrastructure and are not shared with, sold to, or
accessed by any third party. Credentials are used solely to authenticate the
Tool’s requests to the YouTube Data API and are not used for any other
purpose.
Data Retention and Revocation
Credentials remain valid until revoked. Access can be revoked at any time by
the channel owner through the Google Account security settings
(https://myaccount.google.com/permissions), which immediately terminates the
Tool’s ability to access the account.
