Low Volume Production

Risk-Free Low-Volume Manufacturing for All Your Needs

Bringing a new product into the market or bringing an old one into a newer market? Low-volume manufacturing is quick and affordable solution geared at mitigating product development risks associated with introducing new products to new markets. Unlike the high risk and high capital requirement associated with high-volume production that can run into hundreds of thousands or even million units, low-volume manufacturing is a popular philosophy in general manufacturing that has helped several new products navigate the risky journey of idea to product quickly and affordably without compromising on quality standards.
At Firstmold, we achieve low-volume manufacturing with any one or a combination of two of four technologies namely CNC machining, Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing), Rapid Tooling and Polyurethane Vacuum Casting. Firstmold has no minimum order requirements, and can deliver anything between 1 to 1000 units in as quick as 1 to 7 days, and can make low-volume parts that are accurate to 0.005” in dimensions and tolerances.

Our Advantages and Benefits for your Manufacturing

low volume digital manufacturing products

Complex geometry capabilities

With Additive manufacturing, Polyurethane vacuum casting and CNC machining capabilities, we are fully capable of building the most complex designs that will reflect the most intricate details in every single unit of your product.

We offer hands-on design-for-manufacturing analysis, helping our clients explore potential causes of failures, design inconsistencies and avenue for cost savings or performance optimization to ensure we only manufacture the best of parts. Low MOQs. At Firstmold, we work with every client irrespective of their volume needs. Our quality injection molding solutions are open to everyone. We have low minimum order quantities to meet the budget or production requirements of all our clients.

Shorter leadtimes to gain market edge

Got tight deadlines? Looking to beat the competition? Our in-house capacity and network of vetted manufacturing suppliers is all you need to get your part into production in no-time.

Exemplary quality in our operations

A clear indication of our unrelenting dedication to quality in our manufacturing processes.

Extensive options to fit your needs

Explore a wide array of materials and finishes to deliver whatever is needed on your project. Our material ranges for low-volume production is excellent for incorporating functional properties into your part, while our finishing options will augment the cosmetic appearance and functionality of your parts.

Perfect Tolerances

Our low-volume solutions like CNC machining, Rapid Tooling and Vacuum Casting, are capable of making parts that require complex geometrical structures, high dimensional accuracy and tight tolerances to fit and perform as required. Firstmold can achieve tolerances up to+0.005 inches. Should tighter tolerances be required, we shall evaluate the feasibility, while leadtimes and production costs will increase.
