Se trataba de una calculadora \u00fanica con doble pantalla destinada a uso empresarial. Quer\u00edan una empresa de renombre que pudiera dise\u00f1ar moldes de precisi\u00f3n para el proyecto, y First Mold fue altamente recomendada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El director de producci\u00f3n de First Mold, Bowen Huang, estuvo encantado de ofrecer al cliente una visita f\u00edsica por las distintas secciones de la f\u00e1brica. El fabricante expres\u00f3 abiertamente su satisfacci\u00f3n y procedi\u00f3 a exponer sus requisitos detallados para la fabricaci\u00f3n de la carcasa de la calculadora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Debido a la ligera curvatura del dise\u00f1o, el cliente estaba muy preocupado por equilibrar el rendimiento y la durabilidad manteniendo un peso de unos 150 gramos (0,33 libras). Entre los requisitos clave que esbozaron en el anteproyecto se incluyen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Peso total del producto: de 125 g a 150 g<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Grosor de la pared: de 1,0 mm a 1,5 mm<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Tratamiento de superficie: serigraf\u00eda<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Tolerancia de la pieza: \u00b10,1 mm<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Tolerancia de montaje: \u00b10,03 mm<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Tasa de rendimiento de la producci\u00f3n en masa: \u226598%<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Retos y soluciones<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La creaci\u00f3n de moldes para productos con superficies curvas es m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil que la de productos con superficies planas. Requiere alta precisi\u00f3n, mecanizado especializado e intervenciones laboriosas de ingenieros cualificados. Para superar este reto, First Mold tuvo que recurrir a software CAD de alta gama y mecanizado CNC de 5 ejes para crear un molde de acero para la fabricaci\u00f3n de la carcasa de la calculadora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tras la producci\u00f3n, la superficie final del molde requer\u00eda un grado de pulido considerablemente alto para garantizar que el producto final tuviera un acabado limpio y liso, listo para la serigraf\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El material principal para este proyecto era ABS, que normalmente experimenta una tasa de contracci\u00f3n del molde de 0,4% a 0,7%, dependiendo del grado y las condiciones de procesamiento. Si las tolerancias son demasiado estrechas, las piezas ser\u00e1n dif\u00edciles de montar. Por otro lado, si las tolerancias son demasiado holgadas, la conexi\u00f3n ser\u00e1 d\u00e9bil, lo que provocar\u00e1 huecos por los que puede pasar la humedad y da\u00f1ar los delicados componentes electr\u00f3nicos internos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uno de los principales problemas del dise\u00f1o de encaje a presi\u00f3n es la concentraci\u00f3n de tensiones en el brazo de encaje (viga en voladizo), que puede hacer que el encaje se rompa durante el montaje. Para evitarlo y garantizar la durabilidad del producto a largo plazo, los ingenieros de First Mold a\u00f1adieron filetes (esquinas redondeadas) a la ra\u00edz de la viga en voladizo para distribuir la tensi\u00f3n y aumentar la resistencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Otro enfoque de los ingenieros de First Mold para mejorar la resistencia del encaje a presi\u00f3n fue estrechar la viga en voladizo para reducir el uso de material y disminuir la tensi\u00f3n m\u00e1xima. El equipo se bas\u00f3 en un software avanzado para conseguir el ajuste perfecto para la fabricaci\u00f3n de la carcasa de la calculadora, en lugar de confiar en el ensayo y error a trav\u00e9s de m\u00faltiples prototipos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dise\u00f1o de carcasas para calculadoras ligeras<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La carcasa de la calculadora aporta entre 70% y 90% del peso y volumen totales. Aunque el material elegido por el cliente (ABS) suele ser el principal para la electr\u00f3nica de consumo por su relativa ligereza, fue necesario replantear el dise\u00f1o pensando en el aligeramiento. Reducir el uso de material al fabricar la carcasa de la calculadora contribuir\u00e1 a reducir el peso total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los ingenieros de First Mold decidieron mantener el grosor de las paredes en 1,0 mm. Para que las paredes delgadas siguieran siendo estructuralmente funcionales, se reforzaron con nervios. Para obtener el mejor resultado, la orientaci\u00f3n de las nervaduras se determin\u00f3 mediante un software de simulaci\u00f3n. Las nervaduras no s\u00f3lo serv\u00edan de soporte estructural, de ah\u00ed la necesidad de una mejor planificaci\u00f3n. Por lo tanto, para First Mold era importante que el grosor de la pared fuera uniforme a lo largo de la curva. La falta de uniformidad en el grosor provoca un enfriamiento diferencial, que puede hacer que las zonas gruesas se hundan mientras las finas se enfr\u00edan demasiado r\u00e1pido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las piezas curvas tambi\u00e9n tienden a \u2018pegarse\u2019 m\u00e1s a la cavidad del molde que las piezas de paredes rectas. Esto dificulta la expulsi\u00f3n y aumenta el riesgo de da\u00f1os o ara\u00f1azos en las piezas curvadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El dise\u00f1o de la carcasa de la calculadora del cliente ten\u00eda paredes ligeramente m\u00e1s finas alrededor de las pantallas y el teclado.
